WebTV sees video ad revenues triple

Advertising revenues at video ad network WebTV almost tripled in 2010, according to new figures.
Last year, the hub saw video ad revenues rise by 244 per cent, while sales increased by 162 per cent in the final quarter of the year alone.
Video advertising was found to be most popular among telecoms and entertainment firms, although the medium is becoming an increasingly common way to advertise products online thanks to the incredible popularity of online video.
