The Future of Mobile Video

mobile-videoMobile video will account for 4.65 exabytes of traffic per month in 2015 – that’s according to Cisco’s Visual Networking Index (VNI) Global Mobile Data Traffic Forecast Update.

Cisco also says that global mobile data traffic grew 2.6-fold in 2010. That’s the third year in a row that mobile data nearly tripled.

Video was 49.8% of mobile data at the end of 2010 and Cisco believes it will continue to grow reaching 66.4% in 2015.
